Position Summary: IT Network Systems Administrator • The Systems Administrator will manage specific client IT environments including MS Exchange e-mail, file/print, Office 365, hardware and unique software, VMWare virtual servers, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software. • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices. • Manage Microsoft patch deployments. • Secure systems to (and maintaining compliance with) appropriate cybersecurity policies. • Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs. • Perform system backups and recovery • Resolve escalated Help Desk issues. • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recover THIS JOB IS NOT REMOTE AND WILL REQUIRE BEING LOCAL TO JUNEAU, ALASKA Requirements Systems Knowledge needed: IT Network Systems Administrator / Troubleshooter • Microsoft Windows servers and VM (Hyper-V) Environments. • Knowledge of Azure and Office 365 administration Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and DFS. • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2016/Windows 7/10 • Experience with MS Exchange
