Position: Cloud Solutions Architect (Onsite) IT Recruiter | Talent Acquisition Specialist | Connecting Tech Talent to Opportunities Cloud Solutions Architect Austin, TX 78744 (Hybrid-Onsite 4–5 days/week) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Contract: 12-month engagement (with potential for extension) Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the US on an ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. (CJIS background required) Background Requirement: Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire. a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-level initiatives focused on modernizing infrastructure and driving secure, scalable cloud adoption. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to turn strategic visions into real-world solutions. You’ll be the bridge between technology and business, shaping architecture, guiding best practices, and mentoring teams as they implement hybrid and multi-cloud systems that meet strict security and compliance standards. What You’ll Do • Lead cross‑functional teams in the design and delivery of secure cloud infrastructure solutions. • Serve as a technical liaison between shared technology services, cybersecurity, and business units. • Mentor engineers and educate stakeholders on cloud architecture, security, and infrastructure best practices. • Design and optimize hybrid and multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Ensure compliance with NIST 800‑series and CIS Benchmark v4.0 standards through secure configuration and governance. • Implement identity management, access control , and policy‑as‑code guardrails. • Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts using tools like AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, and Modelize IT. • Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Bicep/ARM. • Architect monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for visibility, compliance, and cost control. • Design and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and backup strategies ensuring high availability and business continuity. What You’ll Bring • 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related roles. • Proven success designing and managing hybrid multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI). • Strong expertise in networking, security, IAM, and governance frameworks. • Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM/Bicep). • Familiarity with NIST 800‑series and CIS v4.0 frameworks. • Experience leading modernization projects — containerization, microservices, Dev Ops integration. • Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate complex tech into actionable insight. Required Experience • Multi‑cloud Architecture (e.g., at least 7+ years; Azure Architect, AWS Architect, Kubernetes solution Architect, Enterprise Architecture and/or Dev Sec Ops ). • 2-3+ years of experience in large‑scale cloud transformations, legacy to modernization efforts, and understanding security posture. • Migration experience including standing up landing zones for migration acceleration. • Cost optimization techniques by reducing servers/instances to PaaS‑based solutions. • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
