Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume. Resume tips here.: Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience in Windows Server Administration. Experience must include: • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating System Scripting, including batch file creation, PowerShell, command-line registry manipulation. scheduled tasks and command-based configuration. • Sophisticated troubleshooting ability, including the ability to create and test hypotheses based on relative likelihood, a willingness and ability to creatively consider all possible causes for a problem and test appropriately. Advanced experience in problem diagnosis, remediation and testing. • Knowlege and experience of Microsoft Server Clustering planning, deployment and management. • Administration of Windows Servers in Azure and other cloud platforms. • Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps, including Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Managment. • Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties. • Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving. A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Implementation and best practices. • Knowledge and understanding of Windows server operating systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of the operating system(s). • Experience and understanding of server administrator concepts, including server creation, physical server conversions and host server operations. • Thirst for knowledge; expand skillset, develop new ways of accomplishing tasks and push the boundaries of technology to meet our customers' goals.
