Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite) Industry: Nonprofit Insurance Advisory Firm Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit advisory organization in downtown Manhattan, is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to help manage and secure their growing IT environment. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who works well independently and brings a proactive mindset to system performance and security. What You’ll Do: • Support and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including Azure Data Lake. • Maintain and secure network systems using Fortinet firewalls and tools. • Administer VMware vCenter and Horizon for virtual machine and desktop environments. • Build and support internal tools using Microsoft Power Apps. • Troubleshoot infrastructure and security issues with minimal supervision. • Lead systems updates, audits, and disaster recovery processes. • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to recommend system improvements. What You Bring: • Solid, hands-on experience with Fortinet Security Solutions (knowledge of Fortinet and/or certification is a plus). • Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, including storage and resource management. • Experience with Power Apps to streamline business processes. • Proficiency with VMware environments. • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or AZ-305 preferred. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: • Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4–6). • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure security. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, or enterprise VMware setups.
