We need a hands-on Cloud Engineer to work onsite at a customer facility, leading modern infrastructure, scalability, and reliability from day one. What You’ll Do Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Collaborate with customer teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud environments. Automate deployments with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Build CI/CD pipelines to deploy code safely and efficiently. Monitor, log, and optimize system performance, availability, and costs. Manage access controls, permissions, and security policies. Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and applications, supporting fast development cycles. Contribute to technical decisions and Aviture’s cloud engineering playbook. This is an onsite role at a customer facility. You’ll be among our first cloud engineers on the ground, building trust, processes, and future opportunities. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience solving cloud problems. 3+ years in a cloud engineering or DevOps role with hands-on experience in at least one major cloud provider. Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef). Strong understanding of networking, IAM, monitoring, and security best practices. Comfort working in a Linux-heavy environment, with some Windows experience preferred.
