Mid-Level Information Technology Business Partner Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Information Technology (IT) Business Success organization is seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Business Partner inOklahoma City, OK to support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) programs which include E-7/Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), Bombers, Executive Transport & Surveillance (ET&S), proprietary programs, KC-46, P-8, VC-25B, and other programs which operate in Tukwila, WA, Oklahoma City, OK, and other locations. The teams who work on these programs design, build, test, deploy, and maintain a variety of engineering solutions and mission critical systems which support Military, Government, and Heads of State aircraft customers throughout the U.S. and around the world. The selected candidate will report to the MS&B OKC IT Business Partners Senior Manager and will focus primarily on software management responsibilities and Bombers IT Business Partner support but will require flexibility to support other programs and work statements as needed. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Program Gate Reviews, hardware and software management, OKC and Puget Sound site support activities, Compliance, Risk Management, application support, etc. This role requires strong partnership and collaboration with the business, other IT Business Partners, leaders at various levels, Specialized U.S. Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Cybersecurity, Networking, Enterprise Cloud Solutions, Digital Transformation Engineering, and other teams to develop and implement technical solutions aligned with BDS priorities and strategic goals. Position Responsibilities: • Translate customer needs into technical requirements including best fit system architectures for current operations and program growth, and requirements related to hardware and software selection, installation, and configuration • Serve as a liaison between the business, IT, and other organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met • Proactively educate the business on IT capabilities and service offerings • Collaborate directly with the business to understand their needs and represent the business within IT to engage the right resources, explore alternatives, and help deploy the right solution with first time quality • Guide projects from intake, planning, and funding through implementation, validation, and business acceptance • Communicate timely status of project and program activities, including risks and issues, to leadership and stakeholders • Investigate innovative and alternate solutions to address current and anticipated business needs • Apply critical thinking, ingenuity, and problem solving to evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations • Identify opportunities for automation, technology optimization, innovation, and business simplification • Implement standards and best practices to improve current processes • Demonstrate teamwork, listening, prioritization, and organization skills to work effectively in a diverse, cross-functional environment with shifting priorities and requirements BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 3+ years of experience leading teams, meetings, and projects that involve cross-functional collaboration • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership • 3+ years of technical implementation experience in classified and unclassified environments, preferably in large-scale digital or business transformations, System Integration, Infrastructure & Operations, Cybersecurity, Networking, etc., combined with business domain experience in Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, etc. • 1+ years of experience in security, compliance, risk management, and privacy controls Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor's Degree or higher • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance • 3+ years of experience in BDS or Aerospace business functions such as Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, etc. • 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools such as MS Project, Gantt charts, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc. • 3+ years of experience in creating and leading executive level presentations • 1+ years of experience in hardware and software procurement, provisioning, and management Drug Free Workplace: Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
