Job Title : Azure Cloud Architect / Application Architect Job Location : St Louis, MO Job Type : Contract to Hire We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect / Application Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, and application development, along with experience leading multiple initiatives and managing small projects. Key Responsibilities: Azure Cloud Architect: • Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure. • Develop and implement Azure-based solutions to meet business requirements. • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure resilience, security, and optimal performance of the Azure infrastructure. • Estimate costs for Azure resources and develop cost control mechanisms. • Implement security measures on Azure and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. • Work with Azure resources such as Azure Kubernetes Services, Data Factory, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, App Registration, Storage Account, DBaaS, and Cosmos DB. Azure Application Architect: • Design and develop cloud-based applications tailored to business needs using Azure services. • Create technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations. • Evaluate and optimize existing solutions for better performance and scalability. • Document architectural plans and solutions for future reference. • Manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications. • Monitor Azure environments and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless operations. • Utilize full-stack development skills, particularly in .Net Core, Angular, and NodeJS. Qualifications: • Strong knowledge and experience in Azure Application Hosting, Integration, and Application Security. • Expertise in working with Azure Kubernetes Services, Data Factory, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, App Registration, Storage Accounts, DBaaS, and Cosmos DB. • Hands-on experience with full-stack development, especially in .Net Core, Angular, and NodeJS. • Ability to design and lead technical projects with multiple stakeholders. • Experience in the Healthcare Insurance domain is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead initiatives and manage small projects effectively.
