Job Details Corporate SGA - HOUSTON, TXDescription The IT System Administrator with Team Leadership is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the Company's computer network while providing leadership and guidance to a team of IT professionals. This role involves network monitoring, software management, Google Workspace, and Office 365 (O365) administration, website management, SSL certificate maintenance, HTML coding, report generation, and ensuring the overall security and performance of the network. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Continuously monitor network traffic and activities to ensure optimal performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance network reliability and security. • Install, configure, and manage software updates, patches, and applications across the network to maintain system integrity and functionality. • Work independently in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and objectives effectively, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. • Administer and manage Google Workspace and Office 365 (O365) environments, including user account management, email configurations, and collaboration tools, ensuring smooth and secure operations. • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of hardware components within the network, including servers, switches, and storage devices. • Maintain and update company websites, including content management, security enhancements, and HTML coding as needed • Provide advanced technical support and assistance to end-users for complex software, and hardware-related issues, offering timely resolutions and guidance. • Oversee SSL certificates, ensuring their validity, installation, and proper configuration for secure website and network communication. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure consistency, compliance, and support for colleagues. • Implement security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard the network against threats and vulnerabilities. • Lead support efforts for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, including peripherals, office copiers, printers, and cameras. Conduct in-depth research and resolution of technical issues. • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and administrators to address technical challenges, contribute to IT projects, and enhance network efficiency. • Effectively manage and prioritize daily tasks, addressing critical issues promptly while ensuring network stability. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices, evaluating and recommending technology solutions to improve network performance and security. • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, delegating tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring effective collaboration among team members. • Other Tasks/Projects as assigned by the Manager KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Education: • Bachelor’s Degree, required Experience: • 3+ years of experience in system administration, network management, or a related IT role, including 1+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity. Education may be accepted in lieu of experience. Credentials: • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Google Workspace Certification, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator) are a plus. Knowledge and Skills: • Proficiency in software and hardware troubleshooting • Extensive experience with network monitoring tools, software update management, and Google Workspace and O365 administration • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with team members • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage complex tasks • Thorough understanding of network security best practices • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and implement solutions effectively • Other Tasks/Projects as assigned by supervisor / manager
