Job Title: Lead Azure DevOps Terraform Consultant Location: Chicago, IL (Day 1 onsite) Duration: 12 +months Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead with expertise in Terraform to drive automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipeline implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure DevOps, managing cloud infrastructure, and leading DevOps best practices. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Terraform, Azure cloud services, and end-to-end DevOps automation. Key Responsibilities: • DevOps & CI/CD: Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD) for application deployments and infrastructure provisioning. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and manage Terraform scripts to provision Azure cloud resources in an automated and scalable manner. • Azure Cloud Management: Architect and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Security Groups. • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and governance. • Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Azure CLI. • Monitoring & Logging: Implement Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for effective monitoring, logging, and alerting. • Collaboration & Leadership: Lead DevOps initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve processes and efficiency. • Version Control & GitOps: Manage repositories using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure Repos, enabling GitOps practices. • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads using AKS. • Cost Optimization: Analyze and implement cost-efficient cloud solutions while ensuring high availability and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Handson experience with Azure cloud services (Virtual Machines, AKS, App Services, Storage, Networking, etc.) • Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python • Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure Repos • Good knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Prometheus • Knowledge of Azure Policy, RBAC, and Governance frameworks • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and leadership skills Certifications: • Azure Cloud or Hashicorp Terraform Certifications Mandatory Skills • Azure • DevOps
