Hi All, Hope you are doing well Role: DevOps Teach Lead - W2 Location: Onsite(McLean, VA) Assignment Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) Key Requirements Must-Have Skills: • Experience: 7+ years in DevOps-related roles • Technical Proficiency: 5+ years working with MS PowerPoint, Visio, Agile Methodology, DevOps, Jira, and Confluence • Candidates must have hands on building experience with building CI/CD pipelines and MUST have more hands on experience with Groovy Preferred Qualifications: • Industry experience • Understanding of Python and Java • Experience with cloud automation tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation • Familiarity with Draw.io and MindManager • UI/UX design expertise for diagram creation Job Overview As a DevOps Engineer Specialist (Tech Lead), you will play a crucial role in cloud modernization efforts within a CI/CD ecosystem. Your primary focus will be architectural and strategic, creating high-quality solution diagrams, system integration diagrams, and capability heat maps. Additionally, you will track milestones and showcase automation journeys using modern cloud tools and platforms. This is not a hands-on coding or development role but rather an opportunity to drive transformation through visual storytelling and executive-friendly presentations. Responsibilities • Develop advanced PowerPoint slide decks to communicate visions, problem statements, and solution designs. • Design Microsoft Visio/Draw.io diagrams illustrating technology architectures and cloud ecosystems. • Collaborate within a DevOps and Agile environment using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and AWS Cloud services. • Analyze and generate data-driven technology metrics to provide insights into tool usage and automation journeys. • Work with cloud computing and database systems, ensuring seamless integrations. • Support cloud automation initiatives using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and container technologies such as Kubernetes. • Create executive-level reports with actionable insights from platforms like Jira and ServiceNow. Qualifications • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio • Strong experience in metrics reporting using Jira and ServiceNow • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Knowledge of software testing, benchmarking, and continuous integration strategies • 6-8 years of DevOps experience, including testing, automation, and deployment in CI/CD environments • Education & Technical Expertise • BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Relevant work experience may substitute for degree requirement) • Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2) • Experience with Agile software development in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, and GO • Background in managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Bamboo • Strong understanding of cloud monitoring and security tools such as CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Splunk, ELK, and Nagios
