Solution Architect / Security Architect The Solution Architect / Security Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing robust, scalable, and secure analytical platforms and system integrations. This pivotal role ensures that all architectural designs incorporate best practices in data security, access control, and adhere to stringent industry compliance standards. The architect drives the adoption of secure cloud architectures and implements advanced cyber risk management strategies, including Zero Trust frameworks, to protect sensitive data and systems while enabling seamless, high-performance data analytics for complex client needs. Responsibilities: + Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance solution architectures for complex data analytics and integration platforms. + Ensure all system designs and implementations strictly comply with industry data security regulations, privacy standards, and accessibility requirements. + Define and implement secure data pipelines, data access controls, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive information throughout its lifecycle. + Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation. + Lead the adoption and implementation of secure cloud architecture principles within environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP. + Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for system development and operations. + Collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to integrate security controls early in the system development lifecycle. + Support security accreditation processes and provide necessary documentation to demonstrate compliance with security frameworks. + Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and methodologies to enhance the organization's overall security posture. + Architect solutions that align with Zero Trust principles, minimizing attack surfaces and enhancing data protection. + Provide expert guidance on security best practices for enterprise architecture and system integrations. + Troubleshoot complex security issues and provide solutions to maintain system integrity and availability. Experience Required: + 8+ years of experience in solution architecture with a strong focus on data security and cloud environments. + Proven experience designing and implementing secure, scalable analytical platforms and large-scale system integrations. + Extensive knowledge of data privacy regulations and information security standards. + Hands-on experience with secure cloud architecture in platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. + Experience conducting security risk assessments and supporting compliance efforts. Certifications: + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) + Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) + TOGAF Certification (The Open Group Architecture Framework) + AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or equivalent Azure/GCP certification) + Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Key Skills: + Enterprise Architecture + Data Security & Access Control + Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP) + Zero Trust Frameworks + Cyber Risk Management + Systems Integration + Compliance & Governance + Solution Design + Network Security + Security Auditing Education: + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
