Position Summary The Mgr., Business Analysis will work in an Agile scrum team environment, in close collaboration with business partners, Plan Sponsor domain team, product owners, scrum teams, architecture and other Aetna Technology DDAT - Data Digital Analytics Technology partners. Responsible for the analysis, requirement gathering, grooming of stories based on business needs in support of critical integrated system releases. A self-starter, who takes initiative in challenging situations. The Mgr., Business Analysis assigned on a project ensures they are completing their deliverables of high quality and on-time. High proficiency in technical writing. Conducts interviews, fact-finding, and independent research to design creative, progressive IT solutions for business problems, Conducts retrospectives and demos for key stakeholders with the scrum teams. The Mgr., Business Analysis is essential for ensuring business value is delivered per expected outcomes and production applications remain stable with excellent performance and optimal scalability. The ideal candidate for this business analyst role will be responsible for bridging the gap between Aetna Technology and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Required Qualifications 2-3 years experience in Business Analyst role Applies specific functional and/or business expertise to perform assigned tasks and develop project deliverables. Business Analysis experience with Healthcare experience in one or more of these areas: Benefits and Plan Sponsor, Claim Adjudication, Network and Provider, Billing Member Enrollment. Creates appropriate communication materials are documents and distributes appropriately. Consistently performs analysis and translates business needs to create high-quality business requirements, with documented stories and functional specifications within specified timeframes to solve complex problems. Conducts retrospectives and demos for key stakeholders with the scrum teams. Ensures end-to-end traceability of requirements to completion. Anchor for Application Development group, the role entailing end-to-end responsibility from Business Planning, Stakeholder engagement, Offering & Solution development, Alliance partnership. Contributes to the review of Test Planning and Test Execution strategies with assistance to user testing. Experience in multiple Plan business systems Contributes to the design and mapping of data conversion strategies. Completes project activities on time and within budget, and proactively identifies and communicates issues that may jeopardize milestones or project budget to the Project Manager and Release Train Engineer. Develops business workflow diagrams as needed Develops business workflow diagrams as needed. Documents, tracks, and resolves issues related to data quality assists in documenting mapping rules. Ensures end-to-end traceability of requirements to completion Help facilitate the scrum ceremonies and help remove all the impediments for the scrum teams as needed. Participates in collaborative requirement, system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources, and development resources. An understanding of Clarity Education Bachelor's degree in a Business or IT field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Expectation of prior business analyst experience of 2-3 years with some technical background Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $66,330.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
