Your Primary Tasks As an Azure DevOps Architect, you will: • Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to modernize HHSDC’s IT infrastructure, including compute, storage, and application fabric. • Lead workload migrations from legacy systems to a hybrid cloud environment, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT managers, developers, and DBAs, to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Develop technical roadmaps and architecture plans to support business transformations. • Conduct research and provide recommendations on cloud solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability. • Ensure compliance with federal and state standards while maintaining meticulous technical documentation. • Deliver presentations to stakeholders and conduct training sessions for knowledge transfer. What You Bring to the Table To excel in this role, you’ll need: • Advanced Azure expertise: Proven experience in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes. • Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, data lakes, Azure database services, and programming languages like SQL, .Net, and Python. • Leadership skills: A minimum of 5 years as a Software Development Lead and 3 years as a Designer or Architect. • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with IT operations, software engineering, and digital technology trends. • Communication skills: Ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively. • Education and certifications: A 4-year degree in computer science or a related field (advanced study preferred) and Microsoft Azure certification.
