About the Role "> We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect and DevOps Specialist to join our team in McLean, Virginia. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget • Maintain and improve existing software systems, ensuring they meet changing business needs • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve software development processes and outcomes Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with at least 16 years of experience in software development • Proficiency in Java, C#, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure • Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices and tools, including release management, orchestration, and code repository tools like Jira, GitHub, or Jenkins • Familiarity with scripting languages and ability to create final products per stakeholder requirements • Experience architecting, implementing, or maintaining solutions in the sponsor cloud environment • Ability to document concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance support • Routine interface with senior management and delivery of weekly status to leadership • Certifications in Java, C#, Microsoft Certified Engineer, and Microsoft Certified Architect Compensation and Benefits The estimated salary range for this position is $140,690 - $239,140 per year.
