Job Title: Data Architect - Azure & Fiserv Products Location: San Antonio United States Job Type: Full-Time / C2C Work Mode: 2 to 3 Days work from office. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with in-depth expertise in migrating data from legacy FiServ products to Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data migration, cloud architecture, and Fiserv’s financial services software. The role involves planning, executing, and managing the migration of complex financial datasets while ensuring data integrity and security. Key Responsibilities: Data Migration Strategy: Design and implement robust data migration strategies for transferring data from on-premise systems to the Azure cloud, specifically involving Fiserv applications. Hands on experience in ADF (Azure Data Factory) Data Mapping & Transformation: Perform data mapping and transformation to ensure seamless integration of data into Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Azure DataBricks and other storage solutions. Fiserv Expertise: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the unique data structures, formats, and business logic in Fiserv products - InformEnt, Data Compass, Signature Bank platform. Analytics Reporting: Assess reporting on the current platform, prioritize and facilitate rewrite on PowerBI platform DataMart design and implementation: Experience with designing and implementing data warehousing schemas using data mart (Star, Commerce, snowflake, etc) Data Integrity & Validation: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data throughout the migration process, performing thorough data validation checks and fixing any inconsistencies or errors. Performance Optimization: Optimize migration processes for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in an Azure environment. Security & Compliance: Implement data security and compliance controls, ensuring that migration activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOX. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the data migration process. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, data flow diagrams, and procedures to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data migration projects, with at least 2+ years of experience migrating data to Azure Cloud. Proven experience working with Fiserv products such as InformEnt, Data Compass, Signature Bank ERP platform. Strong understanding of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure DataLake, Blob Storage, and other Azure services related to data migration. Expertise in SQL, Power BI. Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices and data security standards. Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance requirements in the financial services industry. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and Fiserv product teams. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate). Experience with financial data and knowledge of payment processing systems. Previous experience in a financial institution or FinTech environment.
