Job description

Our client is adding a Cloud Services Engineer to their team, to support a variety of projects for their external programs. To succeed in this role, you should be able to identify the most effective cloud-based solutions, and maintain cloud infrastructure in alignment with best practices and company security policies. Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 implementations and assessments. • Proven experience in Azure and M365 cloud services deployment and troubleshooting, with a focus on IaaS and PaaS services. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management • Overall understanding of on-premises architectures as a part of hybrid cloud designs. • Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep and Powershell. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft certifications such as: o AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator o MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator o AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (a plus) • Experience in enterprise environments or consulting engagements with multiple clients. • Working knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and Microsoft Defender security stack.
