The Strategic Data Analyst will be part of the Corporate Analytics team and will work directly with assigned business units to facilitate their acquisition of relevant and actionable information to support enterprise and business unit goals, strategies, objectives, and operational needs. This role focuses on Community Health and Equity, requiring social equity experience to analyze claims data and develop indicators related to the social determinants of health. Skills • Proficient in coding languages such as R, SQL, or Python • Knowledge of community health and equity, social determinants of health, or public policy data • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to present information effectively in various formats • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint Responsibilities • Understand and align enterprise and business unit goals, strategies, and objectives • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize data and analytics solutions • Implement and oversee a Scope Management process for initiatives • Develop comprehensive data and analytic requirements for reports, dashboards, and data cubes • Facilitate communication between business units, IT, and D&A teams • Conduct high-quality analysis of relevant topics and trends • Run ad hoc analyses to support business unit needs • Perform advanced analytics using statistical techniques and predictive modeling Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Four or more years of work experience in data and analytics management • Experience in a collaborative team environment • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and statistical analysis Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field Experience Requirements • At least four years of relevant experience in data analytics • Proven experience in managing analytics initiatives and collaborating across teams Why work in Honolulu, HI Honolulu offers a unique blend of vibrant culture, stunning natural beauty, and a welcoming community.
