In this role, you will play a key part in advancing enterprise-level infrastructure automation and ensuring the security and stability of mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include the development, deployment, and management of Red Hat Linux environments, the implementation of DevOps automation, and the enforcement of infrastructure security best practices. Minimum Requirements: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification OR • 4+ years of Red Hat Linux system administration experience Key Responsibilities: • Ansible Automation: Develop, test, and deploy Ansible Playbooks from pseudo code to automate complex DevOps and system administration tasks. • STIG Compliance: Automate and deploy STIG security configurations using Ansible; troubleshoot and validate hardened settings. • Access Control Configuration: Manage authentication and authorization rights using Identity Manager across users, groups, and hosts. • Patch Management: Perform patching and maintenance of Linux systems using yum CLI, Ansible YAML scripts, and Red Hat Satellite tools. • DevOps Infrastructure: Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and hybrid deployments for software distribution, OS provisioning, and container management on-prem and in cloud (e.g., Azure). • API Integration: Connect data across systems including trouble ticketing platforms and environment management tools (e.g., Ansible AAP, PostgreSQL, RH Satellite). • Software Specification & Scripting: Capture verbal requirements, convert to written specifications and pseudo code, then develop into Ansible, Python, SQL, or related tools. Use version control systems such as Git/GitHub. • Technical Support: Provide expert consultation on systems integration, secure configurations, and network architecture. • Stakeholder Communication: Participate in regular status meetings and provide technical updates to internal teams.
