Our client, a leader in enterprise IT solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures. This role is crucial in guiding our clients through their digital transformation journeys, leveraging the power of leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and hybrid cloud strategies. This position offers a hybrid work model, blending remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration and client interaction within the vibrant tech scene of Baltimore, Maryland, US . Responsibilities: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions for clients across various industries. Develop and implement comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and execution. Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to automate cloud deployments and management. Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions. Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for cloud strategy enhancements. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and runbooks. Present technical solutions and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design. Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools. Deep understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and data management in cloud environments. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with diverse teams. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
