Senior Systems Administrator Join one of the fastest-growing infrastructure companies transforming how we manage water, sewer, and industrial systems. This team delivers innovative trenchless technology and turnkey solutions—and they’re growing fast. They’re looking for a Sr. System Administrator to support enterprise-wide IT operations, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with MSPs and vendors to resolve issues, manage upgrades, optimize performance, and ensure cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candidate has strong system admin experience (Windows, virtual/cloud), ERP exposure (NetSuite preferred), and a passion for solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties/Responsibilities: • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. • Manage daily activities related to the configuration and operation of IT systems. • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems. • Monitor and resolve issues for computers/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. • Support networking issues regarding: VLANs, DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.) • Support users with Azure, M365, Windows, AD and Hosted/cloud environments. • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration. • Responsible for mobile device management. • Project Management • Take the lead on project delivery and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues. • Ability to design secure systems aligned with industry standards and best practices. • Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware. • Optimize system operations, perform capacity analysis, and plan resource utilization. • Documentation, Cyber Security, ITGC and communication • Provide detailed analysis and feedback on all issues. • Creates and helps with technical documentation in internal Wiki and guides. • Maintains security compliance with patch management and administration. • Can communicate with all levels of corporate hierachry. Clearly explain and define issues and resolutions. Key Success Measures • Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently • Works well with MSP and other team members to document and define resolution path • Customer satisfaction • Out of the box thinking approach to problem solving Job Related Competencies: • Solid understanding of Windows, Azure, VM’s, Networking concepts, SAP, Fusion, NetSuite, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Power BI and Microsoft SQL. • Very effective interpersonal and communication skills • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands • Strong understanding of Technology Architecture pertaining to large scale business practices Education and Certifications: • University, college degree or equivalent experience is required. A college degree in Computer engineering, computer science is preferred • Certifications (preferred, not required) • Microsoft, A+ • CASP, CCNP • Cisco CCNA or higher • SCOM, GCIH or STIG Related Experience: • 3+ years of Sr System Administration experience, or 5+ years as System Administration experience. • Knowledge and experience with NetSuite is preferred, particularly with MRP and manufacturing capabilities • Experience working with multi-function project teams with at least 5-10 team members • IT infrastructure, operations, and/or application delivery experience preferred • 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain management.
