Job Details Description Pay Rate: $64,272-$70,000 Villa Maria Behavioral Health Clinics provide mental and behavioral health services to children, adults, and families across Maryland. These services include individual counseling, family counseling, psychiatric evaluation, social and coping skill development, addiction counseling and treatment, and medication management. Catholic Charities of Baltimore Villa Maria Behavioral Health Clinic is currently seeking a EHR (Electronic Health Record) System Administrator who will collaborate with the behavioral health leadership team to enhance the quality of services provided to our clients focusing on integrating client care and clinical coordination within programs. Will represent the Family Services division while collaborating with other divisions within the Agency, and external partners. The incumbent will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of program and quality initiatives. EHR My Evolve. The work schedule will be Monday -Friday 8:00am-4:00pm 37.5 hours per week. 3days working from the office and 2 days from home. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Serve as primary point of contact for the Agency-wide utilization of the agency's electronic medical record(s), working to ensure program, billing, and management have access to information, reporting and optimal functionality for their unique business needs. • Work collaboratively with agency leadership to train direct service staff and to ensure technical aspects of EHR are in alignment with clinical goals and needs. • Monitor, communicate, and resolve requests for assistance from users. • Problem-solve and take initiative to develop system enhancements, new additional programs, and solutions to issues that arise related to EHR. • Develop trainings and materials, and provide trainings to support user skill development and workflow improvements. • Manage user access and profile creation, including user creation and deactivation. • Work collaboratively with external EHR consultants and follow executive direction to achieve specific goals as assigned. • Responsible for division-wide IT and data issues, being the primary liaison between IT and the division, the point person on data and IT issues and software implementations. • Partner with Catholic Charities leadership team to provide overall vision and strategic planning to programs /clinics. • Serve as a key resource regarding any issues related to the integration of client care among programs collaborating regarding clinical operations, quality of care, disparities, and care coordination. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. • Five years of experience working at an expert level with electronic health record system, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • One year of experience working in the mental health field, with an understanding of basic concepts, language, and principles. Required Skills & Abilities • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management. • Ability to work with vendors, regulatory bodies and other organizations as necessary. • Ability to collaborate with centralized administration and communications, to align with the agency’s purposes and commitments, striving to achieve strategic plan goals. • Ability to problem-solve and take initiative related projects, issues, and electronic medical record system as well as custom analytics and dashboards. • Ability to identify, resolve and/or avert potential problems. • Ability to simplify technical language for lay audiences during staff trainings and troubleshooting sessions. • Ability to effectively utilize project management skills to achieve results, meet critical deadlines and involving multiple staff and external vendors. • Ability to explain solution capabilities within the context of business processes. • Ability to work independently, organize work efficiently, attention to detail, and able to prioritize responses to changing business needs. • Ability to utilize, or willingness to learn computer systems and software, necessary to perform position functions (Basic computer, web browsing, online training, and email usage skills.). • Requires the ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook skills required. Other Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, and OneDrive desired. Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Will be expected to travel to all Behavioral Health Clinics in and around Baltimore and surrounding counties, including Western Maryland. • Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with others. • Work consist of walking, bending, stooping, ascending/descending stairs, and remaining in a stationary position 50% of the time. • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.
