Business Intelligence Data Analyst This position is responsible for the governance, extracting, normalization, reporting and analytics of healthcare data. This work will include data manipulation, validation and cleansing. Aggregates disparate data from internal and external systems in various formats and develops meaningful reports to assist leadership in the monitoring and achievement of performance objectives. Designs and develops data visualization solutions to communicate results to key decision makers. Diving into large, and complex health care data to produce innovative analysis of historical patterns and insights around the integrity of the source data and data processes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or Health Care Informatics. In addition they have 3+ years of data analytics with data mining experience. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manages the importing, exporting and mining of large healthcare data Aggregates disparate clinical and financial data in various formats. Construct data queries, or refresh data queries for staff to retrieve pertinent clinical or administrative data Resolve discrepancies with data and instill stakeholder confidence in reporting accuracy Develops reporting for data governance including trends and statistical analysis of data quality and integrity Recommends workflow processes and procedures to monitor timely and accurate receipt and transfer of data Collaborates with stakeholders to gather business needs, establish scope of projects, manage project timelines, and meet deadlines Develops data preparation and validation routines to support data mining. Collaborates to define and create appropriate key performance indicators Creates reports and dashboards for stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Continually enhances knowledge of healthcare data and information technology Coordinates and oversees special projects as identified and assigned Other duties as assigned or when necessary to maintain efficient operations of the department This is direct hire role , 100% remote and open to EST and CST time zone candidates. Pay: $100,000- $120,000 annual salary Main Duties/Required Skills: • Ability to utilize SQL, Python, R, CCL or other query language for data manipulation, querying and reporting. • Proficient in extracting, manipulating, converting, integrating and mining data to and from various systems • Ability to identify, problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Access and Excel, PowerPoint and Word. • Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization platforms. • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meets timelines, and work well under stressful situations. • Strong quantitative and analytic skills • Ability to present solutions to multidisciplinary teams. • Possess ability to positively interact with all internal and external customers in a professional manner at all times. • Demonstrated ability as a self-starter requiring minimal direction and oversight • Constantly seeks opportunities to improve processes to support more efficient and effective work outcomes. • Communications: communicates verbally and in writing in a positive, consistent, enthusiastic, and open mannered approach with all internal and external customers. • Customer Focus: promotes positive internal and external relations by actively seeking and being responsive to customer feedback.
