Descripción Microsoft Platforms Infrastructure Specialist Start: 04/29/2024 End: 10/27/2024 Location: On-site in Kansas City ou Minneapolis, MN. Description: With minimal supervision, Specialists are responsible to analyze complex situations, demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking techniques to validate understanding of existing infrastructure technology solutions and/or test and validate new solution designs. Maintains a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), (AGILE, Accelerated SAP (ASAP), Waterfall) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) procedures. In this role, the contractor is responsible for supporting Data Center Services applications. In addition to this, they will be actively engaged in the projects delivery on the core module and new technologies. The candidate will provide guidance and subject matter expertise to project teams within domains, interactions with applications/networks, security, NetApp, EMC Storage, Redhat, SLES and Microsoft. They will also assist in producing and maintains the technical documentation (environment documentation, implementation plans, run-books, and operational guidelines, scripting) that provides the core documents needed in maintenance and refresh development. The candidate will also assist in devoloping operational models, processes, and documentation to maintain and govern all aspects of CP's DCS's responsibilities. The contractor will also provide technical expertise (Vblock, server, AWS, Azure, Print Services, Domain Services, M365, etc) in the planning, design and implementation of projects and key initiatives. Works with Expert and Principal Leads to develop Proof-of-Concepts for prescribed CP initiatives within DCS responsibilities. As a subject matter expert, takes initiative to resolve difficult and often complex DCS related issues that have been escalated through tiers of support. Work Experience 4-6 years of converged Infrastructure experience with specialization in one of the three base technologies (Compute, Storage or Networking) 7-10 years of practical experience using a wide variety of programming languages C#, & Computer infrastructure experience Skills: Specialist independently deliver on achieving operational excellence, including but not limited to: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL); Software Development Lifecycle (SCLC) and deliverables within the Project Management Office (PMO). Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, seeks required input across departments to achieve goals. Ability to independently drive results and meet timelines as part of a strong technical delivery team.
