Job description

Description: • Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Microsoft Entra ID. • Partner with IT leadership to refine WSB’s cloud strategy. • Provide infrastructure support for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related M365 services. • Support the transition of cloud infrastructure in-house and enable future growth through templated deployments. • Implement and manage Azure Monitor, cost controls, and backup/recovery solutions. • Work closely with internal Cloud Architect and junior Cloud Administrator for team upskilling. • Identify and implement automation opportunities using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools. • Act as an escalation point for Azure and O365 infrastructure incidents. Requirements: • Azure services, governance, and automation skills. • Certifications: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102). • Automation/Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI. • Security & Monitoring: Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, or similar tools. • Networking Knowledge: Experience with VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations in cloud environments.
