Company Qualcomm Incorporated Job Area Operations Group, Operations Group > Sourcing General Summary We are seeking an IT Sourcing Specialist to manage the Source to Contract process for a portfolio of IT Sourcing Events. This is an independent contributor role, suitable for a candidate who is delivery focused and has a depth of experience in managing IT stakeholders, running RFx events, leading supplier negotiations and maximizing the value of IT spend. Responsibilities • Engagement with various stakeholders: Business, IT, Finance, Contracts, Legal, SMEs and Suppliers. • Create RFx packs, run the tender process, collate supplier scorecards, lead contract negotiations and provide an award recommendation. • Create executive slide decks that clearly summarize the problem statement, identify options and provide an evaluation of the options. • Collect, analyze and summarize data from different sources to create actionable insights. • Partner with stakeholders to maximize the value of IT spend, drive savings, reduce risk and increase operational efficiency. • Project Management of the event from intake through to PO. Manage priorities, tasks, deliverables, timelines and resources. • Create and negotiate commercial constructs autonomously within defined policies and processes. • Create and execute contract negotiation strategies. Preferred Qualifications & Skills • 4+ years of experience in the Procurement of IT. • IT Category SME with extensive knowledge of IT subcategories, suppliers, and trends. • Proficient in Spend Analytics, TCO Modelling, Sensitivity Analysis, Price Benchmarking, Leverage Management, Conflict Resolution, Risk Management, Project Management and Stakeholder Management. • Depth of knowledge of IT contractual terms and able to collaborate with legal/contract teams in order to get to an executable supplier contract. • Proven success in leading supplier negotiations and delivering cost savings. • Strategic and creative thinker who can create innovative solutions for complex problems. • Strong negotiator with high emotional intelligence and customer service skills. • Highly motivated, results-driven and independent worker. • Able to influence multiple and often conflicting priorities, to an outcome that is optimal for Qualcomm’s shareholders. • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with third-party spend analytical and savings tools. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Sourcing or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 6+ years of Sourcing or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Sourcing or related work experience. • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
