As a Storage Engineer, you will focus on tackling technical challenges in the field of big data. Leveraging cutting-edge software and hardware technologies, you will design, develop, optimize, and maintain industry-leading low-latency, high-performance, and scalable distributed file storage, object storage, caching systems, and big data management systems. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop high-performance, low-latency distributed file storage, object storage, and caching systems. • Optimize existing storage systems for performance and scalability to handle large-scale data workloads. • Tune and optimize storage systems to ensure efficient operation under high loads. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential issues in storage systems. • Monitor and maintain the health of storage systems to ensure high availability and reliability. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for storage-related issues. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university. • 2+ years of experience in storage-related development and optimization. • Proficient in C/C++ programming and familiar with common algorithms and data structures. • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems; familiarity with Linux Kernel is a plus. • Experience with open-source distributed file systems, object storage systems, or caching systems, including their architecture, principles, tuning, and operations. • Familiarity with communication protocols such as TCP, RDMA, RoCE, and GPUDirect. • Experience with DPDK, SPDK, or NVMe development is a strong advantage. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in designing or working with large-scale distributed systems. • Knowledge of big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their storage requirements. • Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage).
