Company Description Hamilton Southeastern Schools is the primary school system for K-12 students in Fishers, Indiana, and parts of neighboring Noblesville, Indiana. The district includes 12 elementary schools (K-4), four intermediate schools (5-6), four junior high schools (7-8), and two high schools The district is known for its commitment to academic excellence and providing a supportive learning environment for all students. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jr. Systems Administrator located in Fishers, IN. The Jr. Systems Administrator will be responsible for daily system administration tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, and assisting with server and endpoint administration. The candidate will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technological infrastructure within the school district. Qualifications • Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. • Experience supporting end user device deployments in a large organization or enterprise. • Experience managing, maintaining, and testing backups of both physical and virtual servers in an enterprise environment. • Experience packaging and deploying Win/Mac applications. Knowledge of Active Directory design and architecture. • Knowledge of mobile device management concepts (experience managing an MDM solution strongly preferred.) • Familiarity with macOS management and troubleshooting strongly preferred. • Experience supporting a VMWare infrastructure preferred. • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with staff and vendors. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Performance Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day management of district MDM solution and device enrollment. • Package, test, and deploy various line-of-business applications amongst Microsoft and Apple devices. • Deploy iOS applications and create iOS management profiles for district iPads. • Manage, maintain, and regularly test district server backups to ensure backup requirements are met. • Provide Tier 3 support for building techs and help desk to resolve escalated issues. • Maintain accurate server and desktop infrastructure documentation, end user instructions, and training. • Work with other departments and business experts to understand their business requirements for information technology and discuss associated issues in a non- technical style. • Perform additional and/or alternative duties as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure Technologies. Salary Range Starts at $59349, can earn up to $64349 24 days paid time off + 12 holidays
