We are looking for a Senior Technical Data Architect with Healthcare / Payer background who can be part of our overall growth strategy. This will be a great opportunity to lead, engage, and manage various data initiatives, providing architectural guidance across their data modernization, transformation, cloud migration initiatives. Responsibilities • Lead, consult, advise and engage in driving successful completion of various data programs / projects across Payer customers. • Analyze healthcare business and data requirements, refine, and grow data lake and warehouse data architectures, data models, and data integration systems, • Lead the data architecture, modeling and integration development and implementation activities and teams. • Working as a senior member of an implementation team working on large, complex and industry leading data projects • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses • Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, materials, and employees • Defining reference architecture, which is a pattern that others can follow to create and improve data systems. • Defining data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition. • Collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors • Employ best practices and standards with security, privacy, and regulatory needs in mind. Key Qualifications • 8+ years in the Healthcare Payer / PBM industries and have good understanding of the various functional domains and data requirements. • Operating within a large corporate (or global) environment with sensitive data (PII, PHI, etc.) and compliance requirements. • The ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements and define data standards and principles. • Good understanding of Cloud Technologies, Data Lake, Data warehouse, Data Modeling, Analytics & Reporting and other leading technology trends in data. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to explain complex concepts to a wide variety of individuals with varying technical skills. • Inquisitive and resourceful– not afraid to network within the organizations to ask relevant questions • Overall 15+ years of experience of experience with Data Management, Big Data, Data Warehousing and Analytics. • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Architecting and Implementing Data Solutions on Azure using Databricks. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ADF, Pyspark • One to two years of experience in Azure Synapse is plus. • Hands on working experience with scripting languages such as Python, Pyspark, Spark SQL or Shell Scripting, etc. • Extensive hands-on experience in building and optimizing Databricks notebooks, tuning and optimizing ETL/ELT process developed ADF. • In-depth understanding of various storage services offered by Azure. • Experience with implementation of data security, encryption, PII/PSI legislation, identity and access management across sources and environments. • Experience with data process Orchestration, end-to-end design and build process of Near-Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines • Certification in solution architecture, data engineering and development in Azure is preferred. • Certification in Databricks is must. • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare Payer domain is preferred. • Ability to provide technical leadership and oversight on multiple projects/tracks. • Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills • Team builder and facilitator of cross team discussions with proven ability to identify and remove roadblocks and resolve issues Thanks and regards Praneeth Bondugulapati
