Network Engineer (Structured Cabling)/ (767529)//F2F Required Richmond, VA Duration: Long term Job Description: Local Richmond, VA candidates required due to onsite requirement • *Candidates must possess a clean driving record (this will be verified) as their job involves field work within the state of VA, driving either a leased or a state vehicle • *Candidates must maintain insurance coverage during this engagement (this will be verified) • *Candidate must be able to pay for room/board while travelling - to be reimbursed by VDOT. Gas card provided for gas only • *Travel may include some overnights, with notice • *ONSITE interviews strongly preferred Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing and inspecting deployed communications systems. Required 5 Years Experience in Installation, maintain and support of critical, multi-site networks. Required 5 Years Knowledge of wire-line and wireless, including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular technologies, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, 5G, TCP/IP, UDP,ICMP,IP Networks Required 5 Years Working knowledge of networking tools, such as; Fluke Versiv with light meter, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAlly nXG, iperf3, nmap, wireshark, traceroute, Highly desired 2 Years Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.
