This position offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package Job Title :: Test Lead/Architect – Azure DevOps (ADO) Job Type :: IT01 Job Location :: Grapevine, TX Position Description :: • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Architect/Test Lead to join our team for an onsite position with a strong focus on Test Automation, BDD, and Selenium within the financial and Payments domain. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of test processes, metrics, planning, estimations, and strategy, alongside proven experience managing both onsite and offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer interaction skills and a track record of successfully delivering high-quality test . Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the end-to-end testing process, ensuring high standards of test planning, execution, and delivery. • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for large-scale projects in the financial domain. • Work with a variety of tech stacks, including C#/.Net, IBM Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), and Oracle, addressing automation challenges due to legacy systems • Utilize BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies and Cucumber framework to deliver automated test . • Oversee the automation of test cases using Selenium, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution. • Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance test case generation and accelerate automation script development. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, QA, and Business) to define and refine test requirements and success criteria. • Provide regular status updates to senior management and key stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and issues. • Manage and mentor onsite and offshore testing teams, providing guidance on test design, execution, and reporting. • Lead the development of key test metrics and KPIs to evaluate test progress, quality, and team performance. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security requirements during testing processes. • Interface with customers and stakeholders to understand their testing needs, manage expectations, and resolve any issues. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas of improvement in test processes and tools. • Plan and drive test estimation efforts and ensure proper resource allocation for test activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 15+ years of experience in QA, with at least 5-6 years in a Test Lead or Test Architect role. • Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated test scripting and execution. • Expertise in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies, particularly using the Cucumber framework. • Expertise in leveraging GitHub Copilot to assist in automated test case generation and test script development. • Strong experience in the finance, payments and banking domain, with knowledge of SCM and other related domains • Proven experience in test process management, including test planning, metrics collection, and progress reporting. • Solid background in test strategy and the ability to craft detailed test plans and estimates for large-scale projects. • Experience managing onsite/offshore teams, with the ability to mentor, guide, and coordinate efforts across multiple time zones. • Strong customer interaction and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively. • Experience in test metrics development, with a focus on quality, productivity, and efficiency improvements. • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including how testing fits into Agile workflows. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into the build process. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git, or other CI/CD tools. • Familiarity with financial applications, payment systems, or banking software. • Certification in ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
