BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Senior Database Administrator** with strong expertise in **MongoDB** and familiarity with **DB2** on **z/OS** \.This **fully remote** role offers the opportunity to work on mission\-critical systems in a dynamic and collaborative environment\. You'll be responsible for designing, securing, automating, and maintaining enterprise\-grade database platforms while supporting modernization and cloud migration initiatives\. Our ideal candidate will have: + Experience designing, installing, and configuring MongoDB on **Linux platforms** + Proven ability to automate backup, restore, and monitor tasks using **Shell scripting** + Experience **documenting** **MongoDB installations** , operations, and security across multiple environments \(including cloud platforms\) + Strong experience with **MongoDB security** , including TLS authentication and SSL key configuration + In\-depth knowledge of **Compass** and **MongoDB Ops Manager** , including upgrades, groups, and project configurations + Willingness and ability to participate in an on\-call rotation + Hands\-on experience with **z/OS** , and **JCL** _\(training is available\)_ + Familiarity with **IBM DB2 utilities** and tools _\(training is available\)_ • *Job Responsibilities** + Utilizing logical models to ensure efficient and reliable database performance\. + Designing and developing logical and physical layers for various databases\.
