In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and deliver impactful visualization solutions that transform data into actionable insights. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in client engagements, leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen to drive measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective data visualization solutions. • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI that provide actionable insights. • Perform data preparation, modeling, and transformation to ensure accurate and reliable visualizations. • Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability, especially for large datasets. • Conduct workshops and training sessions to help clients adopt and maximize the value of visualization tools. • Manage and contribute to workstreams within larger projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between data pipelines and visualization needs. • Communicate project status, risks, and findings to clients and internal leadership. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data visualization and analytics. • Contribute to the development of reusable assets, templates, and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency. • Share knowledge and insights with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, solution demos, and client presentations. Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics, with a strong focus on Tableau and Power BI. • Hands-on expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Power BI Desktop, including DAX and Power Query. • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL for data preparation and transformation. • Proven ability to create intuitive, user-centric dashboards and reports that tell a compelling data story. • Experience in optimizing dashboards for performance and scalability with large datasets. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering business value. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. • Certifications in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Certified Associate) and Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Travel to client sites as needed (30 to 50%) • Hybrid role: 2x per week in office Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below).
