SQL Developer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to design, implement, and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and will be responsible for optimizing our data storage and retrieval processes to enhance overall performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement database structures using T-SQL and related technologies. • Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries for maximum performance. • Conduct data analysis to support business intelligence initiatives. • Manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data transfer between systems. • Perform database performance tuning and optimization tasks. • Collaborate with data architects and other developers to design data models and indexing strategies. • Maintain and support existing database systems, including Oracle and MySQL. • Ensure data integrity and security across all database environments. • Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a SQL Developer or similar role. • Strong knowledge of database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. • Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with stored procedures. • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools. • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. • Ability to perform performance tuning and query optimization. • Good understanding of data modeling techniques and indexing strategies. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
