We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Physical Supply Chain Traceability Platform, who is a proven thought leader with great technical and process depth to drive clarity on vision and roadmap for evolving requirements and standards in the areas of Supply Chain Traceability, Risk and Compliance, Artificial Intelligence, and Supplier / Partner integration. The successful hire will drive innovative architecture and design to enable automation of our processes and systems in a data driven manner, while continuously improving operational excellence (security, resiliency, scalability, efficiency). Qualifications Required / Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience. • 3+ years of experience building applications on Azure cloud. 5+ years’ experience in a technical leadership role, not necessarily managing people. Communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading technical teams, and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders. Deep understanding of software engineering principles, distributed systems, design patterns, data structure & algorithms, software security, reliability, and performance optimization. Solid technical expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, JavaScript etc.) and software development frameworks. • Industry or project experience with Supply Chain Traceability and Compliance systems, preferably in Hardware and high tech supply chains. • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, balancing long-term objectives with short-term business needs. Ability to drive large, complex programs and solutions ability to communicate technical details clearly and participate in contributing to Industry standards. Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
