This role involves implementing IAM policies, managing user authentication, identities, and maintaining compliance with security standards. The IAM Administrator works closely with IT, security, and business teams to manage access rights, troubleshoot issues, and enhance IAM solutions. What You’ll Do: Develops, implements, and maintains IAM policies, procedures, provides user training and awareness programs on IAM policies and procedures and best practices. Manages user provisioning & deprovisioning, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC) systems. Ensures compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO27001), and audit frameworks. Integrates IAM solutions with cloud-based and on-premises applications. Monitors and troubleshoots identity and access-related security issues. Works closely with IT, security, compliance and business teams to enhance IAM strategies. Creates and provisions new accounts based on approved requests. Documents job titles with system access and addresses incorrect access requests by educating requesters on proper access. Disables accounts upon termination or transfer in a timely manner. Manages the ticketing system to track all access-related requests and ensures timely processing per SLAs. Performs peer reviews to ensure correct and timely user onboarding and offboarding. Ensures accounts are created following Curaleaf’s naming conventions and security protocols. Provides user access and removal to all Curaleaf systems, including but not limited to SOX systems. Works closely with all system owners to onboard existing & new systems into Curaleaf’s user access review automation tool (Zilla). Understands the complete process of user access reviews, from user access lists to the final quarterly review. Conducts periodic user access reviews, audits, and remediation activities. Conducts monthly validation with business owners and reviews for all systems managed by IAM, including SOX systems. Documents job titles with system access and addresses incorrect access requests by educating requesters on proper access. Collaborate with system owners to create/update the Record of Processing Activity (ROPA). Investigates and resolves issues related to user access, including but not limited to password resets, account lockouts, and unauthorized access attempts. Applies Privileged Access Management (PAM) best practices, templates, and documentation while also proposing improvements based on practical knowledge. Obtains an exception from user leadership for all user access that does not meet the user’s job function. Provides corrective measures to prevent the recurrence of identified access security issues. Engages senior management to provide factual, transparent, and timely reporting on existing and emerging PAM or information security risks. Invests in reviewing SIEM logs to report accounts that were created outside the standard policy. What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of IT Service Desk support experience or Identity & Access Management Administrator. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Superior computer skills; well-versed in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong and thorough knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Office 365 administration and Microsoft Entra. Knowledge of Office 365 administration and Microsoft Entra. Must be malleable and quick to adjust to a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in IT, marketing, communications, business, administration, or related field. Possess basic ITIL knowledge & certification.
