Job Title: Cloud Automation & Integration Engineer (Azure VMware Solution, Aria, ServiceNow) 100% Remote USA 6+ months About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cloud Automation & Integration Engineer to lead initiatives around Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware Aria (formerly vRealize Suite), and ServiceNow integration. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation workflows, building real-time dashboards in Aria, and contributing to a strategic upgrade from Aria 5.2.1 to the upcoming 9.0.xx release. This is a hands-on technical role requiring cross-functional collaboration, strong scripting and automation capabilities, and a deep understanding of cloud and IT service management platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain automation workflows within Azure VMware Solution (AVS). • Develop and support ServiceNow integrations with VMware Aria, enabling streamlined workflows and ITSM alignment. • Build dynamic dashboards in VMware Aria for performance monitoring, capacity planning, and operational insights. • Lead the technical planning and execution of the Aria platform upgrade from v5.2.1 to v9.0.xx, expected in summer. • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and ITSM teams to ensure seamless integration and service continuity. • Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation and dashboard solutions. • Document technical processes, workflows, and configurations to support operational readiness and governance. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or systems engineering roles. • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and VMware Aria Automation / Operations. • Experience integrating ServiceNow with VMware and cloud platforms using APIs or orchestration tools. • Proven ability to design and implement custom dashboards within Aria for real-time analytics and reporting. • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript, Python). • Solid understanding of ITIL practices and service delivery models. • Experience with cloud migration projects and platform version upgrades. Preferred Skills & Certifications: • VMware certifications (VCP/VCAP in Cloud Management & Automation preferred). • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and DevOps practices. • Experience with Azure native automation services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Automation). • Knowledge of multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud orchestration.
