Job Title: Systems Administrator - CW Location: Tualatin, Oregon Employment Type: Onsite, W2 Only Pay Rate: $32.00 - $34.48 per hour (based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience) Job Description: We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the technology, security, and process guidance for our labs and cleanrooms. This role focuses on assisting end users in the Lab environment and providing effective IT/OT systems to meet business requirements. The Systems Administrator will oversee the engineering infrastructure, including security controls, applications, network services, computer systems, file storage services, IoT, Azure Cloud, and more. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and global team members to develop and implement secure technology solutions supporting Lab operations. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure approved projects and directives in support of business requirements are implemented promptly. • Track and report progress, escalating to management when customer expectations cannot be met. • Manage and support all computing and network equipment in the lab/office infrastructure. • Develop, implement, and maintain a roadmap for all computer devices in the Lab environment, consistent with global GIS policies and engineering groups' business requirements. • Collaborate with global Lab operation support peers by hosting/attending sessions. • Provide 1st-level and 2nd-level support, acting as a single point of contact for IT services and escalations. • Interface with IT vendors when issues cannot be resolved internally by GIS. • Monitor performance and make appropriate tuning changes. • Utilize approved procedures to ensure hardware and software are deployed, implemented, and supported per business requirements and aligned to company standards/policies. • Utilize GIS Change Control model when applicable to document overall status of the Engineering Lab environment, including Asset Management/Tracking. • Align to Corporate Change Control Board and Vendor/Supplier requirements as necessary. • Participate in GIS projects to test, pilot, and/or implement new hardware and software as necessary in support of Engineering Lab activity/requirements. • Maintain technical skills in areas of specialty. • Monitor and report system and network policies related non-compliance to supervisors. • Create and maintain detailed documentation and technical diagrams. • Perform other duties and functions as assigned. Qualifications: • 5-7+ years of experience supporting an enterprise heterogeneous computing environment in areas of specialty. • Excellent communication skills that facilitate productivity and collaboration among BU customers, GIS. • Prefer working experience with Semiconductor/high tech/research industries. • Working experience in a clean room is a strong plus. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent work experience is required. Technical Skills: • Operating System/Platform Support: 2-4+ years of hands-on experience installing and configuring Microsoft Windows Servers, Windows 10, 7, XP, and legacy NT devices, and Unix/Linux computers. • Network Connectivity Administration: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing connectivity infrastructure (including remote) and services. Experience with end-to-end connectivity troubleshooting and resolving end-user connectivity issues. • Security/Access Control Administration: Understanding of Security Infrastructure best practices. Experience supporting an OT technically diverse security infrastructure: Access Control, PKI Infrastructure, Firewalls, Anti-virus, etc. Understanding and knowledge of security frameworks. • General: Understanding of multiple technologies and protocols from networking, servers to storage, cloud, IoT, robotics, RFID, VR/AR technologies, Zebra Guns/Printers. Excellent User Support skills and problem-solving skills. Preferences: • Demonstrated safety focus. • Prior experience working in a clean room is a strong plus. • Consistent self-starter requiring minimal direction. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize frequently changing needs. • Work as a team player with employees at all levels. • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • • Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving and lifting computer and other equipment as required.
