TITLE: Sr Cloud Engineer - Azure IaS/M365 LOCATION: Ideally, HYBRID (Gresham, OR) but open to remote in Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona with a commitment to travel as needed - i.e., once a month and as needed for important meetings or presentations. PAY: Target salary and bonus combo estimated for this role is $160,000 with fantastic benefits. The combo amount varies based on relevant experience and expertise as well as company performance. ENGAGEMENT TYPE: DIRECT HIRE What You’ll Be Doing • This is a key role within our client's Cloud Center of Excellence and manages Azure hosting as well as M365 work-place. • This role's influence will impact their operations, vendor management and project planning as well as their service to internal stakeholders like IT support tech engineers and admins. • This position will have the opportunity to build upon their skills from existing architects on the team and help fulfill their goal of having "full stack versatilists" in order to further enhance their ability to deliver. • Collaboration and communication are very critical to role with audiences from non-technical to technical to Executive level - internal customers and external vendors. Who We’re Looking For • 8+ years of professional experience including 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Hosting and M365 with: • designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, services and applications • knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices and compliance standards in a cloud environment • experience being a part of building up Azure/M365 cloud practices • experience architecting, designing, and/or implementing their company's cloud tenants • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Power Shell or Bash • Experience with Terraform/IaS (infrastructure as a service) • Strong attention to detail and organizational/planning skills with effective communication skills and customer service skills • Microsoft Azure certifications would be helpful but not required • Experience operating in a Center of Excellence with regional Shared Services would be beneficial • Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas • Please NO Third Party Applicants About Our Client • Our client is a global company that is well respected in their industry.
