About the Role We are seeking an experienced D365 Senior Business Central Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team. This role involves leading end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for small to medium-sized businesses, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions that drive operational efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Central, with additional experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) being a significant advantage. Given our client’s extensive work with Japanese clients, candidates with experience working in Japanese business environments or proficiency in the Japanese language will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for clients. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, map business processes, and deliver solutions that meet client needs. • Develop and extend BC functionalities using AL (Application Language) and integrate with other systems using Power Platform and Azure services. • Provide expertise in financial management, supply chain, inventory, and project management modules. • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and elevating team capabilities. • (Preferred) Leverage experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) to support complex or hybrid client requirements. Essential Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV). • Strong proficiency in AL development and Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps). • Proven track record of leading successful BC implementations for SMBs. • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor. • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (or willingness to obtain certification). Highly Desirable: • Experience working with Japanese clients or within Japanese business environments. • Proficiency in the Japanese language (business-level or fluent). • Exposure to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), including knowledge of X++ or experience in hybrid BC/F&O environments.
