We are looking for a Full-Time Jr. Level Systems Administrator with 1+ years of experience to join our amazing team! This role will be at a more Jr. Level as you will see by the requirements. This role is great for a system administrator who is willing to travel and work their way up in our organization. Salary: 60-65K per year plus travel per-diem. Responsibilities: Coordinate operational designs, develop support plans, coordinate implementations, and provide second level support for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions encompassing heterogeneous platforms. Develop system support requirements by reviewing and analyzing customer business processes and evaluating available Enterprise Services (ES) and supplier capabilities. Support project teams in implementing new or upgraded designs and coordinate project efforts with support groups. Create plans that support implementation of changes. Participate in system support design and performance evaluation reviews. Advise on distributed network computing issues. Monitor and maintain security and integrity standards and controls. Assist in the evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on customer need. Coach others in the application of new operational support technologies. Analyze user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues. Coordinate and approve updates of the site administration documentation. Keep abreast of emerging operational support technologies and industry trends. Recommend appropriate price/performance improvement opportunities. Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year experience Must be willing to travel to different contractors that we have in the local area, 2.5-3 weeks per month (expenses paid and weekends will be off) Education: High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I Certification Active Secret Clearance at minimum U.S. Citizenship is required Preferred certifications: Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification Operating System (OS)/Application Certification About La Jolla Logic La Jolla Logic (LJL) is an advanced technology and information system security solutions firm founded in 2011 in San Diego, CA.
