Managing Director, Decision Modeling & Analytics Join to apply for the Managing Director, Decision Modeling & Analytics role at BDO USA Job Overview The Decision Modeling & Analytics Managing Director is responsible for building and managing a financial modeling and decision analytics service within BDO’s Valuation & Capital Market Analysis practice. This role includes developing the go-to-market strategy, establishing internal processes for project execution, and acquiring resources for a sustainable business model. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement strategic plans for the Decision Modeling & Analytics service offering. • Lead a team in executing and delivering engagement projects. • Identify client needs related to financial modeling and decision analytics. • Enhance modeling techniques as analytical landscape evolves. • Execute business development in collaboration with the VCMA segment leader. • Build relationships with key stakeholders to support service growth. • Coordinate with alliance and international firms on opportunities. • Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and excellence. Supervisory Responsibilities • Oversee the execution of the service line strategy, from opportunity identification to client delivery. • Manage daily workload and review client deliverables. • Ensure staff training on relevant tools and models. • Evaluate staff performance and support professional development. • Provide performance feedback and career guidance. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required. • Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred. Experience • 15+ years in financial modeling and decision analytics, preferably at a global or mid-sized firm. • Strong background in business analytics, corporate finance, valuation, or financial accounting. • Proven leadership experience. Certifications • CFA, CPA, or valuation credential preferred. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
