A Day in the Life: - Lead architecture and implementation of Microsoft solutions including Azure services, M365/Teams, and Dynamics 365 workloads - Design technical solutions that solve real business problems—balancing performance, cost, and scalability - Partner with account executives and solution consultants to deliver demos, proposals, and roadmaps during presales engagements - Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures across cloud and hybrid environments - Provide technical oversight across project lifecycles including discovery, design, deployment, and transition to managed services - Own architecture artifacts such as diagrams, BOMs, SOW inputs, configuration standards, and knowledge transfer docs - Build trusted client relationships and serve as a technical advisor for ongoing innovation and modernization - Actively contribute to internal solution IP, reference architectures, and methodology development across practice areas What You Bring: - 8+ years in solution architecture, consulting, or senior engineering roles focused on Microsoft technologies - Strong background in Azure cloud architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, identity, automation, and security best practices - Deep hands-on expertise in M365, Teams, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server, and VMware/Hyper-V - Exposure to Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement, Power Platform, or F&O) and interest in app modernization - Ability to clearly explain technical ideas to business audiences and translate business needs into solution designs - Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and DevOps concepts is a plus What Makes You Extra Awesome: - Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-305, MS-700, PL-600) strongly preferred - Proven ability to navigate hybrid environments, migrations, and cross-platform integrations - Experience working with virtual desktop infrastructure (AVD, Citrix, or RDS) - Ability to lead whiteboarding, envisioning sessions, and client strategy workshops - Familiarity with industry frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, or Microsoft CAF) and enterprise governance models Why Work At Long View: - Work with top-tier clients and some of the best technologists in the business - Paid training, Microsoft certifications, and career pathing support - Culture that values competence, integrity, creativity, and fun - Flexible work arrangements and time-off policies that support wellness and work/life balance - Competitive compensation including base + 15% variable earnings, 401(k) contributions, and a full benefits package
