An employer in the Rome, NY area is seeking a TS/SCI Pen Tester for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be supporting a cloud focused team to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities within complex systems. Will be joining a brand new team of 4 to support a cloud program that supports mission partners to deploy their apps and/or their environments in the cloud platform. Will conduct pen testing to various systems, networks and applications and develop detailed testing plans to include the use of advanced tools and techniques. Will then analyze specific results to provide recommendations to improve their security and collaborate with developers and operations to fix any vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Will be required to sit on site 5 days a week (in office or at customer site) and have an active TS/SCI clearance. Must Haves: • Active TS/SCI Security clearance • Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred) • Experience in Pen Testing, adversarial emulation, or red teaming • Active or able to obtain IAT Level II or IAT Level III certification per DoD 8140 requirements such as CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or CompTIA Security+ within 60 days of employment Plusses: • Working knowledge and/or familiarity with Cloud-based technologies (AWS Platform, Azure Platform, Google Cloud) • Experience with Pacu • Certifications: • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) • INE: eJPT (Junior Penetration tester) • eDA (Enterprise Defense Administrator) • BPEN (Black Hat Penetration Tester) • PenTest+ (highly preferred) • GXPN, • OWSP, • BSCP The Salary for this role ranges from $90,000-$140,000
