A national healthcare group is seeking an exceptional BI leader to build and lead a centre of excellence in data and analytics. This is a pivotal leadership role, positioned at the heart of a broader digital transformation agenda backed by senior leadership and private investment. The Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics will define and execute the BI strategy that shifts the organisation from descriptive reporting to predictive insight. You'll own the Azure-based data infrastructure, develop a roadmap to improve data quality and access, and embed a governance model that enables consistent, trusted decision-making at all levels of the business. You'll work alongside a forward-thinking digital leadership team and be supported by a highly engaged Executive and investor group. There is significant headroom to modernise the toolset and bring in capability from outside the sector. The Role: • Build and execute the enterprise BI strategy aligned to a company-wide digital roadmap • Lead the delivery of a modern Azure-based data warehouse and reporting environment • Shift the organisation from reactive reporting to predictive analytics and data science • Drive data governance and stewardship across all business units • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing internal BI team • Translate senior stakeholder needs into structured insight and strategic action Experience required: • Proven track record leading BI or Analytics in a complex, multi-site environment • Hands-on expertise in Azure data services, Power BI • Strong communicator who can bridge the technical and operational environments • Experience moving organisations toward predictive analytics and advanced modelling • Comfortable working at pace and navigating ambiguity • Experience outside health/social care welcomed, particularly from data-mature sectors This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of data in a business that directly impacts thousands of lives across the UK.
