Principal, Microsoft Security Engineer Purview Join to apply for the Principal, Microsoft Security Engineer Purview role at Slalom. About the Role As a Principal Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security solutions for Microsoft environments, focusing on enhancing the end-user experience across secure solution architectures. You will deploy tailored M365 Compliance configurations, including Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data lifecycle management, and records management. Additionally, you will implement and manage Azure data governance solutions, collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with security policies, conduct security audits, provide technical support, and develop security policies, standards, and guidelines. Staying current with emerging security threats and technologies is also essential. Who You Are • Experienced as a Microsoft Security Engineer or similar role. • Proficient in Microsoft security technologies and tools, including Purview Information Protection, DLP, data lifecycle management, records management, and Azure data governance. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Solid understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements. • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. The base salary range for this Principal level role is $122,000 to $225,000, with potential for an annual discretionary bonus, depending on skills and experience.
