Job Title: Office 365 Architect Bill Rate: $95/hr Pay Rate: $85/hr Department: IT / Infrastructure / Cloud Services Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Office 365 Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Microsoft Office 365 environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, and security/compliance solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on implementation skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement scalable Office 365 solutions to meet business needs. • Design and migrate enterprise workloads to Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. • Develop strategies for cloud adoption, hybrid scenarios, identity and access management (Azure AD), and security compliance. • Lead O365 tenant management, including licensing, configuration, governance, and monitoring. • Provide technical leadership for Office 365 projects and initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Network, and Application teams to ensure secure and seamless integration. • Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures. • Evaluate and recommend third-party tools to enhance the Microsoft 365 environment. • Stay current on Microsoft roadmap and new features, and provide guidance on adoption and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in IT with at least 3–5 years focused on Microsoft Office 365 and related technologies. • Strong expertise in Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD. • Experience with hybrid Exchange environments and identity management (ADFS, Azure AD Connect). • In-depth knowledge of Office 365 security and compliance features (DLP, eDiscovery, MFA, Conditional Access). • Proven experience with migration tools (e.g., Quest, BitTitan, native tools). • Microsoft 365 Certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, MS-700, AZ-104) preferred. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a global enterprise environment. • PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting. • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, and Microsoft Entra.
