Job Type Full-time Description Smiley Technologies, a disruptive FinTech based in Little Rock, Arkansas is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join a team of IT Engineers involved in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the Azure-based Smiley Platform, distributed to banking organizations across the United States. The successful Site Reliability Engineer will work alongside the Director, IT Network & Information Security Officer, as well as a wider Agile team of Platform Engineers, Software Developers and L1 Support, to collaborate and provide its customers with a highly reliable and efficient platform, maximizing uptime and performance. What Smiley is looking for? • A Site Reliability Engineer, capable of working independently and as part of a small Agile team. • Expertise in Dynatrace, Incident Management, GitHub Actions (Pipelines) • An Engineer who is keen to learn new technologies and keen to develop their wider knowledge within an SRE function. What would you be responsible for? • Ensure site reliability by providing recommendations for troubleshooting, CI/CD automation and tool development. • Monitor the systems to ensure health and performance levels. • Taking part in incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews. • Implement and manage Smiley's Application Performance Management (APM) tool (Dynatrace) and operational alerting tools (PagerDuty, OpsGenie, etc.) • Be willing to be on-call and collaborate with different teams for rotations to ensure continuous system reliability.
