Azure Cloud Engineer 100% Remote Location: 100% Remote Salary: $150K-$180K W2 We are looking for looking for an innovative and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. Responsibilities · Create and manage storage accounts across different Resource Groups. · Managing Azure Entra ID (Active Directory) operations · Implementing Role Based Access Control (RBAC) in the Azure tenant. · Creating Azure virtual machines based on the business requirements, manage · the backups and install applications on the VM’s. · Working and configuring Azure Log Analytics Workspace, managing logs, · creating Azure Dashboards · Document all the processes and workflows, their dependencies, gap analysis · and future plans for applications. · Interact with the end users to provide Azure cloud support. · Maintain and migrate the applications to Azure cloud. · Create Azure resources based on client business process and requirements. · Create and administer the databases in Azure cloud. · Administer the Azure SQL Server · Optimizing the Azure resources for cost effectiveness. · Provision and manage Azure Infrastructure resources required for the project · using PowerShell. · Implement Azure DevOps for code migrations and manage CI / CD pipelines. · Migrate the workflows from on-prem and Azure cloud across different Azure · tenant. · Create API’s for specific Azure resources e.g. log analytics, ARM templates · Work with ETL operations using Azure Data Factory across different platforms. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer · science, or related field. · 8+ years of Cloud engineering experience · 5 years of Enterprise Data Management (EDW) experience in administering and · provisioning Database servers, data backup and recovery procedures, auditing · etc using On-prem or Cloud products. (Highly preferred) · Able to use Terraform at mid to senior level to build cloud infrastructure. · 3+ years of experience using Azure cloud services in provisioning and · administrating services such as Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse, Azure · Analysis services and Azure Active directory. · Continuous integration, test automation and / or DevSecOps on iterative · development projects. · Assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical · understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud, on · premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains. Preferred: Azure administration Certification.
