DevOps/TechOps Engineer- Remote What do we do? ACD Direct, Inc. is an innovative, virtual company that thrives on brokering solutions for our non-profit clients. Our proprietary scripting engine, web forms and custom-built reporting enable clients to successfully conduct large-scale fundraising campaigns with accuracy and creativity. Limitations: Applicant MUST be located within a 50 mile radius of Salt Lake City, Utah. Although position is remote employee will be required to visit data center on a quarterly basis. All applicants applying from other states or internationally unfortunately cannot be considered. This role's focus? This role is a highly motivated individual with a focus Azure CICD, scripting, and automation responsible for building CICD pipelines for Serverless and Containerized applications, improve development cycles, and ensure scalability and reliability. Experience with Azure/AWS Services, Python, along with good communication and documentation skills is ideal. What will you do? • Collaborate closely with other highly-performing engineers on development tasks, while working from your own home office • Creation and management of CI/CD pipelines • Automating processes required to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and monitor internal, product and cloud-based applications following best practices. • Coordination with Development/Quality Assurance teams to constantly improve and increase deployment velocity. • Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently. • Monitor all applications, services, and the infrastructure effectively, efficiently, within budget and project timelines. • Continuously improve the infrastructure using automation and tools that are scalable and reliable. • Monitor all applications, services, and the infrastructure effectively, efficiently, within budget and project timelines. • Ensuring compliance with PCI DSS ensuring that all relevant security controls are in place, such as encryption, access controls, and monitoring. • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and implementing patches & updates. • Maintaining detailed audit logs of all system activity to ensure compliance. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. • What does it take? • Be able to work effectively from home with minimal supervision. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. • Understanding of Agile Software Development Life cycles. • 4+ Years of experience implementing DevOps practices with strong hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. • 4+ years working with cloud platforms such as Azure. • 4+ years scaling, monitoring, and ensuring reliability of the infrastructure. • 4+ Years of experience with high level programming language e.g., Python, Powershell, or Bash (Python Preferred) • Experience with Azure services and tools such as Lambda and Code Pipeline. • Understanding Configuration Management tools. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code. • Experience building and deploying containerized applications. • Experience with source control tools (Git).
