Position Overview We are seeking a Microsoft Solutions Lead to drive the design, development, and governance of enterprise automation and application solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, mentorship of offshore teams, and a strong understanding of DevOps principles (Harness.io) and security best practices. The ideal candidate will oversee Power Automate (40%), Power Apps (35%), Logic Apps (15%), and Azure Functions (10%), ensuring best practices for governance, scalability, and performance in alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership & Strategy • Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Power Automate, Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions (TypeScript). • Align automation efforts with enterprise-wide architecture, governance, and security policies. • Guide solution design to ensure scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance. • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align automation and application strategies with company objectives. 2. Team Management & Mentorship • Lead and manage a small offshore development team, ensuring agile methodologies and best practices are followed. • Provide technical mentorship, hands-on guidance, and training for Power Platform and Azure development. • Conduct code reviews, technical upskilling, and best practice sharing to improve team capabilities. 3. Solution Development & Delivery • Act as a hands-on technical lead, designing and developing solutions in: • Power Automate for business process automation. • Power Apps for low-code application development. • Azure Logic Apps for enterprise integration. • Azure Functions (TypeScript) for scalable microservices. • Ensure integration with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Snowflake, Workday, Boomi, FiveTran, and Entra ID. • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and error-handling strategies for production stability. 4. DevOps & Governance • Establish and enforce governance policies for Power Platform development. • Implement CI/CD automation using Harness.io, ensuring streamlined deployments and rollback capabilities. • Define and maintain environment strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod) for consistency across platforms. • Ensure proper access controls using Entra ID, Delinea PAM, and Azure Key Vault. 5. Security & Compliance • Enforce data security, compliance, and identity management best practices. • Work with ESO team to implement DLP policies, RBAC, and security audits for Power Automate and Power Apps solutions. • Align solutions with company compliance requirements. 6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation • Drive the adoption of AI-enhanced automation (Copilot, AI Builder). • Evaluate and propose new Microsoft technologies for efficiency and cost optimization. • Promote Citizen Developer enablement by defining training programs and best practice frameworks. Required Qualifications Education & Experience: • 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application development, with 3+ years in a leadership role. • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring offshore teams. • Expertise in Power Automate (40%), Power Apps (35%), Logic Apps (15%), and Azure Functions (10%). • Strong experience in DevOps principles and CI/CD automation (Harness.io preferred). • Knowledge of application development best practices, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization. • Familiarity with security best practices, including Entra ID, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Technical Expertise: • Microsoft Power Automate: Process automation, governance, and integration with enterprise apps. • Microsoft Power Apps: Canvas and model-driven apps, custom connectors, Dataverse. • Azure Logic Apps: Workflow automation, API orchestration, event-driven architecture. • Azure Functions (TypeScript): Microservices, event-driven functions, API development. • DevOps & CI/CD: Strong understanding of CI/CD automation, version control, and deployment strategies (Harness.io experience is a plus). Soft Skills: • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. • Passion for mentorship, training, and knowledge sharing within teams. • Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and automation. Preferred Qualifications & Certifications • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer Expert. • Experience integrating Power Platform with Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, or Boomi. • Background in AI-powered automation (Copilot, AI Builder). • Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
